The corpus's physics thesis — vacuum energy extraction, anti-gravity, the A vector potential, and claims that classified engineering runs decades ahead
Updated
The central dispute is whether any of this amounts to working technology. Forbes claims "they've engineered it to extract zero point energy" and that "the classified aspect is the 5D torque is the A vector potential" — asserting that the publicly known Maxwell equations were deliberately truncated and that the A vector potential, scalar and longitudinal waves, and rotation are the suppressed keys. In "The Answer Was Always Rotation" he argues that "spin is what connects gravity and electromagnetism." Mainstream physicists — Sabine Hossenfelder is the critic the channel engages with most directly — hold that these claims misread the formalism and that no such unification has been demonstrated.
The fusion material is contested in both directions. Forbes treats Chase's Lockheed reactor and dense plasma focus research (as in "The Dense Plasma Focus Paper That Explains Everything") as evidence that compact, aneutronic proton-boron 11 fusion is closer than admitted, while dismissing the most-funded public effort: "Commonwealth Fusion is the Fyre Festival of science," he argues, claiming tokamaks are a dead end. Fusion researchers would dispute both halves of that framing. The corpus also cites Puthoff-adjacent work claiming gravity is not a fundamental force — a minority position the sources present as suppressed rather than simply unpersuasive.
Finally, the "45 Years Ahead and Nobody Told Us" thesis — that black-project engineering runs decades ahead of public science — is asserted from patents, DIRD papers, and insider anecdote, not from any independently verifiable artifact.
Whether any classified program has ever achieved vacuum-energy extraction, anti-gravity, or metric engineering remains unverifiable from public evidence; the Pais patents in particular have never been shown to describe a working device, and Forbes himself notes they "don't talk about zero-point energy" directly. It is also unresolved whether the theoretical scaffolding — spin-mediated unification of gravity and electromagnetism, zero-point energy replacing dark matter — can be formalized into testable predictions. Until an extraction claim survives independent replication, the thesis remains an interpretive framework built on real physics concepts, real patents, and real programs, but without an established mechanism connecting them.
