Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of Orbs (4orbs.ai, the "Service"), operated by Alexandre Martens (the "Operator"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. Questions: contact@4orbs.ai.
What Orbs is — and isn't
Orbs aggregates publicly available sources (such as YouTube videos and published documents) and uses AI models to answer questions with citations back to those sources. The answers are automatically generated research aids, not statements of fact: they can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and the underlying sources — which often concern contested and anomalous topics — reflect their authors' views, not ours. Always verify against the cited sources. Nothing in the Service is medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and provide a working email address.
- You are responsible for activity on your account; sign-in links are personal and shouldn't be shared.
- Accounts include a daily chat limit as a cost and abuse control. Limits are enforced automatically and may be adjusted as the Service evolves.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- probe, overload, scrape, or programmatically bulk-access the Service, or circumvent rate limits, usage limits, or authentication;
- use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others, or to generate and spread misinformation presented as established fact;
- attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Content and intellectual property
- Cited source material belongs to its original authors and rights holders; citations link back to it. If you are a rights holder with a concern, contact us and we will respond promptly.
- You keep whatever rights you have in the text of the questions and notes you submit, and grant us the license needed to operate the Service (processing questions through AI providers, storing your history and bookmarks).
- The Service's software, design, and compiled knowledge graph are ours; you may not copy or resell them.
Warranty and liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero — the Service is free). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You can stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice to signed-in users.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the Service evolves; the "Last updated" date reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced to signed-in users. These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them — without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
